You will need: TORX keys T30, T40.

1. Open the tailgate.

2. Remove the two screws securing the lock to the door panel...

3. ...and remove the lock by disconnecting the switch rod from the lock lever.

4. Install the lock in the reverse order of removal.

5. Mark the position of the latch trim relative to the body so as not to disturb the adjustment of the lock, and, having unscrewed the latch mounting screw, remove it.

6. Install the latch in the reverse order of removal, aligning the previously applied marks.

  • If necessary, adjust the tailgate locking accuracy by moving the lock latch relative to the body panel. After completing the adjustment, tighten the latch mounting screw.
