Removing
1. Vehicles with a 1.4-/1.6-liter petrol engine (E7J/K7M). Disconnect the plug from the sensor 2. The sensor is located on the rear wall of the cylinder block near the generator (see illustration).
5.1 Disconnect the plug from the sensor 2. Vehicles with a 1.4-/1.6-litre petrol engine (E7J/K7M).
2. Unscrew the sensor.
3. Vehicles with a 1.4-/1.6-liter petrol engine (E4J/K4M) and 2.0 liters. Disconnect plug 1 from knock sensor. The sensor is located on the front side of the cylinder head (see illustration).
4. Unscrew sensor 2 (see illustration 5.3).
5.3 Disconnect plug 1 from the knock sensor. Vehicles with a 2.0 liter petrol engine
Installation
5. Thoroughly clean the mating surfaces of the cylinder block and knock sensor.
6. Screw in the sensor and tighten it with 25 Nm.
Attention! Be sure to observe the tightening torque of the sensor, because it is important for its proper functioning. When installing the sensor, make sure that dirt does not get into the hole. Ensure proper cleanliness.
7. Connect the sensor plugs.
