Adjusting the position of the front seats

To ensure the most comfortable fit for people of different heights and builds, the driver's and front passenger's seats can be adjusted both longitudinally and by the angle of the backrest. In addition, the headrest height can be adjusted.

Warning: Adjust the driver's seat only when the vehicle is stationary. If you try to adjust the seat while driving and the seat is not properly locked in the fore-aft direction and it moves unexpectedly, you may lose control of the vehicle.

To adjust the front seats in the longitudinal direction, pull up the locking lever handle and move the seat on the runners to a comfortable position. After installing the seat, lower the handle and move the seat back and forth slightly until it is securely fixed.



The backrest tilt is adjusted steplessly by turning the handle at the base of the backrest.





The front seat headrests can be adjusted in height: press the lock and move the headrest up or down to the desired height. The optimal position of the headrest is considered to be such that its upper edge is located at the same level as the top of the head.

Note: For very tall people, raise the headrest to the highest position; for very short people, lower it to the lowest position.

If necessary (for example, to fold the seat into a sleeping position) the headrest can be removed.

Back seat

The rear seat is equipped with headrests of the same shape as the front ones, the position of which is adjustable in height. The optimal position of the headrest is when its upper edge is located at the same level as the top of the head.





The rear seat position is not adjustable, but it can be folded completely for transporting large items...



...or in parts.

To do this, fold the seat cushions forward and then fold the seat backs.

Heated front seat cushions

In the variant version, switches for the heating elements of the front seat cushions are installed on the side trims of the front seats. The seat heating can only be switched on when the ignition is on (position "M").

Helpful Hint: To avoid draining the battery, only use the seat heater when the engine is running. Do not use the heater when the engine is idling for a long time.

Warnings:

• Prolonged use of the seat heating may cause "low-temperature burns". Do not use the seat heating for a long time when transporting children, elderly or tired people, disabled people, people with sensitive skin, or when intoxicated. Do not place objects on the seats that can act as heat insulators, such as blankets, pillows, thick fabric covers, etc. This may cause the seats to overheat.
• Do not place hard, heavy or sharp objects on the seats as they may damage the heater wires.
• If water or other liquid is spilled on the seat, wipe it off immediately with a dry cloth. Do not turn on the seat heater until the surface is completely dry. Do not leave the heater on if no one is in the seat.

Using child seats

According to the requirements of the Road Traffic Regulations, children under 12 years of age must be transported in special child seats.

Information on the types of child seats and the places in the vehicle where they can be installed is provided in Table 1.2.

Warning: When installing a child seat in the front passenger seat, turn off the airbag. The switch is located on the right end of the instrument panel.

Categories 0 and 0+ (from 0 to 13 kg)

Up to two years, a child's neck is very fragile. Transport children in basket-type child seats installed against the direction of travel. This position provides maximum safety.

Category 1 (from 9 to 18 kg)

For transporting children from 2 to 4 years old, use a wrap-around seat that allows you to support the child with a special child seat belt or a special elastic cushion.

Categories 2 (from 15 to 25 kg) and 3 (from 22 to 36 kg)

For children under 12 years of age, use a booster seat with belt guides that allow the seat belt to slide across the child's hips without twisting.
