- Visually check the condition and pressure of your tires to prevent premature wear and save your life.
- Many breakdowns are associated with problems in the electrical system. Battery-related damage is particularly common, and a quick, regular check will prevent most of it.
- If you have a brake fluid leak, the first time you'll know it is when your brakes don't work as usual. Regularly checking the level will help detect problems of this type.
- If oil or coolant levels are low, the cost of repairing any engine damage will be greater than, for example, identifying and repairing a leak.
